Professor i pedagogik vid Utbildningsvetenskapliga fakulteten.
Forskningsintressen Mina forskningsintressen handlar framförallt om vilken roll IT spelar i att förändra hur vi arbetar. De teknologier eller system som vi arbetar med eller i är med och strukturerar vårt arbete men samtidigt finns det utrymme att arbeta runt dessa för att kunna genomföra vissa arbetsuppgifter och på så vis svara upp mot de skyldigheter och ansvar vi har som professionella yrkesutövare. I förlängningen handlar det om vilka konsekvenser användningen av IT får för arbetet men också vilka kompetenser som behövs för att kunna utföra arbete. Under de sista tio åren har min forskning framförallt gjorts inom skola och utbildning och då med speciellt fokus på lärares digitala arbete och professionella digitala kompetens. Min forskning har bedrivits i, eller i nära samarbete med olika skolverksamheter.

Jag har lång erfarenhet av undervisning, pedagogisk utveckling och kvalitetsutveckling, också genom ett antal ledningsuppdrag. Från 1 juli 2024 är jag vice-dekan vid Utbildningsvetenskaplig fakultet med ansvar för forskarutbildning och hållbarhet. Jag undervisar framförallt i kurser på avancerad nivå (Masterutbildning i IT och lärande, kurser magisterexamen i högskolepedagogik). Vid institutionen är jag med och leder forskningsgruppen Lärande, utbildning och samhällets digitalisering: LEaD. Jag är också vetenskaplig ledare för Higher Education Hub där vi initierat en ny forskningsgrupp på fakulteten kring forskning som rör högre utbildning.
