Kort beskrivning

Arbetsgruppen KRIT behandlar forskningsfrågor som knyter till makt, subjektivitet och motstånd i utbildningsinstitutioner. Teoretiskt hör miljön hemma i en kritisk utbildningssociologisk tradition, metodiskt huvudsakligen i kritisk etnografi, men också i policystudier och narrativ analys.

Pågående forskningsstudier belyser bland annat maktprocesser utifrån strukturella faktorer och demokratisk fostran i utbildning, högre utbildning och akademiskt arbete i förändring, frågor om skolans marknadisering, liksom frågor om klass, genus, sexualitet och etnicitet i skilda utbildningspraktiker.

Forskningen inom gruppen omfattar olika utbildningsnivåer, från grundskola till universitet. KRIT har regelbundna arbetsmöten varannan vecka.
