Dennis Beach är professor i pedagogik. Hans särskilda intresseområden är etnografi, utbildningssociologi och skolpolitik. Han har publicerat extensivt inom dessa områden i stora internationella forskningstidskrifter. Han är för närvarande chefredaktör för den internationella forsknings tidskrift Ethnography and Education och en biträdande redaktör för Oxford Encyclopedia of Education Research.
