Forskning Luftkvalité och klimat. Atmosfärskemi med fokus på partiklar i luft. Partiklar i luft (aerosoler) har betydelse för bland annat hälsa och klimat. Atmosfärskemiska processer påverkar till exempel egenskaper och bildning av partiklar i luft. Ett specialområde är hur organiska ämnen oxideras i luften och bildar partiklar (SOA). Ett annat område är hur förbränningskällor ger upphov till partiklar, till exempel emissioner av nano-partiklar från vägtrafik. Koordinerar ett större rambidrag för forskningsamarbete mellan Göteborg och forskare i Kina runt fotokemisk smog i Kina.
