Fugl-Meyer Assessment

Fugl-Meyer Assessment (FMA) är ett standardiserat bedömningsinstrument för sensomotorisk funktion, utvecklad och validerad för personer med hemipares efter stroke. Skalan utvecklades av Axel Fugl-Meyer 1975 och finns detaljerat beskrivet i en originalartikel “The post-stroke hemiplegic patient: A method for evaluation of physical performance”. Fugl-Meyer Assessment för övre extremitet (FMA-UE) och nedre extremitet (FMA-LE) rekommenderas som primärt utvärderingsinstrument i kliniska studier.
