Our researchers are actively involved in many relevant journals, scientific associations and communities, and research centers. We have selected important links below.

ASK Centre (Art, Science and Knowledge)

ASK Centre has been founded in 2004 at Bocconi University with the aim of carrying out both theoretical and empirical researches and promoting cultural planning and cultural institutions management activities. The Research Centre is focused on activities and sectors significantly characterized by the relationship between arts and economics.

Business and Design Lab

Global phenomena like climate change and the covid-19 pandemic are challenging the way we design for and organize our society and the economy. At the Business and Design Lab, we investigate and experiment new ideas in the intersection between artistic and economic research in order to understand and re-imagine our contemporary societal challenges.

Center for Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Learning research (CIEL)

CIEL’s main purpose is to develop research, knowledge and expertise within innovation, business enterprise and regional learning from a multi-disciplinary perspective. Research into small and medium-sized companies’ business activities focuses on innovation and product development work, strategy and management, business enterprise, marketing, financing and internationalisation.

Centre for Regional Analysis

The Center for Regional Analysis (CRA) is an interdisciplinary research and brings together researchers with knowledge and interest in regional transformation and growth. It is a collaboration between the School of Business, Economics and Law at the University of Gothenburg and the Region of Västra Götaland.

Centre for Sea and Society

Interdisciplinary research and education, communication and collaboration - this is how you can summarize the mission of the Centre for the Sea and Society. The centre works for broad collaborations, both with other authorities and organizations and with the business community. Through a number of communication initiatives, we work to increase awareness and knowledge about the sea and make visible the research that takes place at the University of Gothenburg.

Swedish Entrepreneurship Forum

Swedish Entrepreneurship Forum is a leading network organization that initiates, conducts and disseminates policy relevant research in the field of entrepreneurship, innovation, business dynamics and growth in order to provide decision-makers and opinion leaders in the private, public and political spheres with the latest research-based knowledge.

ESBRI - Entrepreneurship and Small Business Research Institute

ESBRI is an independent research institute located in Stockholm, Sweden. ESBRI disseminates research-based knowledge on entrepreneurship, innovation and small business. Some of the institute's main activities are the lecture series Estrad, the magazine Entré, and the conference Sweden-U.S. Entrepreneurial Forum.

European Academy of Management, EURAM

The European Academy of Management is a learned society founded in 2001. It aims at advancing the academic discipline of management in Europe. With members from 60 countries in Europe and beyond, EURAM has a high degree of diversity and provides its members with opportunities to enrich debates over a variety of research management themes and traditions.

European Association for Evolutionary Political Economy, EAEPE

EAEPE is a pluralist scholarly association in the area of institutional/evolutionary economics and political economy broadly conceived. The main purpose is to promote evolutionary, dynamic and realistic approaches to economic theory and policy, with the aim to bring together the ideas of a number of theorists and theoretical traditions, and to help to develop a more realistic and adequate approach to theory and policy.

European group for organizational studies, EGOS

EGOS is a scholarly association which aims to further the theoretical and/or empirical advancement of knowledge about organizations, organizing and the contexts in which organizations operate. As a collective, one of its main aims is to maintain and provide a voice for the critical and analytical approaches of its members to the study of organization worldwide.

Foundation IMIT

The Institute for Management of Innovation and Technologys goal since its inception has been to conduct and support research and development in technical, industrial and administrative renewal. IMITs research is primarily concerned with how the benefits of technical development can be improved by providing knowledge of industrial management and economics. IMIT acts as a creative link between the development of scientific knowledge in academia and actual industrial renewal work.

GPS400-Centre for Collaborative Visual Research

GPS400-Centre for Collaborative Visual Research  tests and develops innovative and sustainable visual methods and models for research, collaboration and accessibility that increase public participation and interest in knowledge production concerning their local area’s past, present and future.

INCHER Research center

INCHER-Kassel is an interdisciplinary research unit of the University of Kassel. Since its establishment in 1978, higher education research at INCHER-Kassel has been combining a broad range of themes and disciplines in addressing the relationships between higher education and its social context. Besides its research projects, INCHER puts a strong emphasis on the support of PhD students and their academic careers. 

NORSI: Nordic Research School in Innovation and Entrepreneurship

U-GOTKIES is the official partner of NORSI. NORSI is the Nordic Research School in Innovation and Entrepreneurship is the research school for PhD students in the Nordic countries within the field of innovation and entrepreneurship. NORSI works to enhance and strengthen the Nordic innovation and entrepreneurship research education and community.

Quality, Organization and Processes of Welfare Governance (FORTE)

The initiative is made in the light of the ongoing discussion about new forms of governance in the welfare sector and the identified need to develop them. In the 2016 research proposal, the Swedish government express a need for knowledge about how work practices, processes, management and organisation can promote evidence-based and innovative health care and social services from a national, regional and local perspective.

SCANCOR

The Scandinavian Consortium for Organizational Research facilitates inquiry in organizational social science among a transnational network of scholars. Its member institutions in Scandinavia and greater Europe support working visits and residencies at Stanford and Harvard Universities. SCANCOR also sponsors conferences, workshops, and mentoring opportunities worldwide. 

The Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences (IVA)

IVAis a meeting place for Sweden’s future. IVA builds bridges between the business community, academia and policy makers, and bring together the expertise and experience of about 1.300 Academy Fellows and 250 member companies. IVA is an easily accessible expert body, independent of individual interests, ideologies and party politics. The Academy is financed through grants from the business community, foundation funds and direct government funding.

The International Schumpeter Society

The International Joseph Alois Schumpeter Society has at its aim the scientific study of the problems of development, primarily in advanced economies. Following the ideas of Schumpeter it conceives of development as the combination of growth and structural change broadly defined. It intends, therefore, to concentrate on the dynamics of structural change, its origins and effects in all its aspects: the role of the dynamic entrepreneur, income distribution, technical change, employment etc.

The Standing Group on Local Government and Politics, ECPR

The ECPR Standing Group on Local Government and Politics promotes research among European and other scholars in the field of local politics, democracy, governance and administration. The Standing Group has a particular interest in supporting comparative research. It functions as a network of scholars and PhD students but also welcomes practitioners interested in research in the field.

WOMI Community - Workshops on Medical Innovation and Healthcare

WOMI is an international network of researchers who study innovation, entrepreneurship and the organisation of research and development in the context of healthcare organisations, medical devices and pharmaceutical industries and the broader field of medicine and life-sciences. Our WOMI network organizes an annual workshop, when the core group of researchers and other guests meet and discuss current issues within the field.

Work and Employment Research Centre (WE)

The purpose of WE is to promote and support research, education, innovation and utilization in the field of sustainable work and employment. The centre should be a platform for national and international research collaborations.
