Organisms for education and research
There are approximately 200 species in Tjärnö Aquarium, for students and scientists to observe. Moreover, we have a Live storage of collected organisms, for students and scientists to use. Teachers, students and scientists are asked to add individuals collected but not needed to the Live storage.
Tjärnö Aquarium
Tjärnö Aquarium may not be very large, but it's Sweden's most species-rich aquarium. There are over 200 different species of fish, crabs, starfish, shrimps, red algae, and much more.
Live storage of organisms
We have a Live storage of collected organisms, for students and scientists to use. Teachers, students and scientists are asked to add individuals collected but not needed to the Live storage.
Teachers, students, and researchers are welcome to contribute to the lcollection with specimens they have collected but do not need for teaching or research.
Collection of organisms
We can assist with collection before your arrival and during your stay, subject to availability. The cost depends on the extent of the work.
