Incoming exchange student
Are you interested in doing an exchange at the University of Gothenburg? Welcome! Every year more than 1000 students from all over the world choose the University of Gothenburg for their exchange. We offer a wide variety of courses taught in English. You can apply for one semester or a full year exchange, or do shorter periods of placement. On these pages you will find all the information you need about coming here as an exchange student.
On the faculty pages, you will find information specific to each faculty. Some faculties offer additional opportunities for exchange students beyond the courses listed in the course catalogue (‘Find courses for exchange students’). For example, the Sahlgrenska Academy offers clinical placements and provides important information about preparations before arrival.
