I am a PhD student at the Department of Education and Special Education. My research interests revolve around equity, student competence, professional collaboration, and knowledge construction in relation to Special Needs Education and Inclusive Education in Upper Secondary School. In my thesis, I use an ethnographic approach to analyse equity through ethico-philosophical perspectives on power, knowledge, and justice. I have a background as a certified subject teacher in Swedish/Social Science and as a Special Needs Coordinator in Upper Secondary School. Additionally, I hold a Master’s degree in Special Needs Education as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Comparative Literature.
Currently, I teach in various Teacher Education programmes as well as in the Special Educational Teacher Programme.
My supervisors are Mikael Ring and Girma Berhanu.
