Handelshögskolans masterprogram ges på engelska och har studenter en lång rad länder. Ända sedan starten 1997 har programmen stöttats av Stiftelsen Richard C Malmstens minne, bland annat med detta uppsatspris. Årets diplomeringsceremoni hölls på Konserthuset i Göteborg och priset delades ut av Johan Malmsten, ordförande i Stiftelsen Richard C. Malmstens minne.
