Disrupting automobility? Accessibility strategies and mobility practices beyond the private car.

The dissertation project is about the conditions for organizing everyday life without car ownership. The aim is to explore everyday practices, tactics and resources that enable carless life, as well as barriers to sustainable mobility posed by the constraints of carlessness. Rather than scrutinizing mobility practices in isolation, I depart from the activities that make up everyday life and the social relations in and outside of the household that they are contingent on.
