Välkommen till IN BETWEEN, avgångsstudenternas examensutställning

IN BETWEEN: Media, Aesthetics, Culture är en examensutställning för kandidatprogrammet Medier, Estetik och Kulturellt Entreprenörskap vid Göteborgs universitet — ett program som positionerar sig mellan praktik och teori, kultur- och näringsliv, det estetiska och det tekniska, det digitala och det analoga. I en samtid med interaktiva medier, deltagarkulturer och entreprenörskap finns det behov av flexibla, kreativa och nyskapande kreatörer. Utställningen är avsedd att visa programmets bredd, men också styrkan av att befinna sig IN BETWEEN.

Verken i IN BETWEEN: Media, Aesthetics, Culture är vetenskapliga gestaltningar av studenternas examensarbeten. Studenterna har tagit inspiration från sina ämnesval för att visuellt representera sina uppsatser. Välkommen till en utställning som skapar möten och idéer, där inget är antingen eller — det är IN BETWEEN.

IN BETWEEN: Media, Aesthetics, Culture is an exhibition by the students taking their bachelor’s degree in Media, Aesthetics and Cultural Entrepreneurship at the University of Gothenburg – a program that positions itself between the practical and the theoretical, culture and business, the aesthetic and the technical, the digital and the analogue. In a society with interactive media, participatory cultures and entreprenurship, there is a demand for flexible, creative and innovative creators. The exhibition is meant to show the depth of the university program, but also the strength of being IN BETWEEN.
The works displayed are scientific depictions of the students bachelor theses. The students have taken inspiration from their chosen topics to visually represent what they have written about. Welcome to an exhibition that creates interactions and ideas where nothing is either black or white – it’s IN BETWEEN.
