Education programs for musicians at both bachelor's and master's level, with a variety of specialisations, as well as free standing courses and a program for music teachers are offered at the Academy of Music and Drama at the University of Gothenburg. The subject musicology is offered at the University of Gothenburg's Department of Cultural Sciences.
