Research at BioEnv covers terrestrial, limnic and marine environments, and the projects include many different organisms from both the plant- and animal kingdom. Although we have chosen to describe our research from the four main areas Evolutionary ecology & conservation biology, Systematics & biodiversity, Physiology & cell biology and Environmental sciences there are no sharp boundaries. Most researchers are engaged in several projects, that may cover more that one main research area.
Although focus differ between the main research areas, there are some overlap and many questions require close collaborations. Sometimes collaboration occurs within well-defined research groups, sometimes more temporary groups are formed.
