Research

Researchers and research engineers working at GRIDH have a background in various subjects such as literature, science and technology studies (STS), film studies, media history, cultural conservation, archaeology, data science, geographic information systems, natural language processing, language technology, AI, machine learning, and 2D / 3D data visualizations. Additionally, a number of researchers in other disciplines and research areas are connected to GRIDH through external research projects and various forms of collaboration. The main activities of GRIDH can be categorized into three overarching research areas - which partly overlap: digital text analysis, data visualization and data publishing, and studies of digital knowledge production.
