Short description

The aim of the project is to develop a digital platform to present a number of different aspects of Carl Jonas Love Almqvist's novel The Queen's Diadem (1834). With its documentary background (the assassination of Gustaf III) and the mixing of genres, the novel provides a rich source of various presentation modes in digital format. The novel is almost multimodal in character as it alternates letters, omniscient narrative, dramatic dialogue, pieces of music and news- paper notes. There are also a number of staging of the work to relate to, as well as a variety of analyzes.
