Mikael Cäker, doktor i företagsekonomi 2005, Linköpings universitet. På Handelshögskolan vid Göteborgs universitet sedan 2008. Docent 2014. Internationella publikationer i Accounting and Business Research, European Accounting Review, Management Accounting Research, Public Management Review, Scandinavian Journal of Management and Financial Accountability and Management. Undervisar på alla akademiska nivåer inom ekonomistyrning och forskar på styrning av interorganisatoriska relationer, styr- och finansieringsmodeller inom offentlig sektor samt interaktioner mellan olika former av styrning. Sedan 2021 aktiv inom Centre for Health Governance, med projekt riktade mot sjukhusens finansieringsmodeller, förebyggande vård samt medicinska teknologier.
