Om Lisen Selander

I currently work as a Senior Lecturer at the University of Gothenburg, Sweden. I have twice received funding from Marianne and Marcus Wallenberg Foundation to pursue and leverage research on institutions, digital platforms, and contemporary collective action. I am one of the co-founders of TechnAct - a research cluster funded by the Swedish research council on gender, sexualities, emergent communities, and technocultural assemblages https://sites.google.com/view/technact/start-page

My research has appeared in such academic journals as the MISQ, the Academy of Management Discoveries, the Information Systems Journal, and the Journal of IT. I am currently an associate editor for the MIS Quarterly. My work on digital action repertoires, carried out with Sirkka Jarvenpaa, was awarded the MIS Quarterly Paper of the Year for 2016. I am currently serving as AE for the MISQ.
