Om Lisen Selander

I currently work as a Senior Lecturer at the University of Gothenburg, Sweden. My research interests are in the areas of digital transformation and change management.

I have twice received funding from the Wallenberg Foundation to pursue and leverage my research on social movement organizations (SMOs) and digital collective action.

My research has appeared in such academic journals as the MISQ, the Information Systems journal, Journal of IT and the Journal of Information Technology Theory and Application. I am currently  guest editor on Information and Organization's special issue on “Collective Action, Social Movements and Digital Technology”.  My work on digital action repertoires, carried out with Sirkka Jarvenpaa, was awarded with the MIS Quarterly Paper of the Year for 2016.
