Multilingual constructicography is the point of convergence between cross-lingual lexicographic practice and constructionist approaches to language (Lyngfelt, 2018). Such a convergence adds to the complexity of the comparative effort that needs to be carried out, since constructions can be more complex than lexical items in many aspects. In this talk I present a case study where FrameNet frames and Comparative Concepts, as defined by Croft (2022), are used for comparing infinitival clause constructions in Brazilian Portuguese, English and Swedish. To provide the cross-lingual analytical framework used, frames and concepts are organized in a network of typed relations. Based on the linguistic analysis presented, I conclude by offering a method for calculating similarity scores between constructions in different languages.
