About us

The Department of Psychology employs just over 170 staff members and educates approximately 1,600 students each year. Our research and teaching focus on fundamental principles and processes that help us understand and predict human behavior, as well as apply psychological knowledge across many important areas of society. The department is part of the Faculty of Social Sciences and is located at Linnéplatsen in Gothenburg.
