Center for Comparative Analysis of Educational Achievement, COMPEAT
COMPEAT is for researchers who work within the educational field with large-scale international assessments. This website carries more than 750 datafiles pertaining to 10 IEA-studies dating back to 1961.
COMPEAT consists of data on educational evaluation in OECD countries, accumulated since 1961. The collected data can be divided into two phases: one before 1995 and one after 1995.
The data collected before 1995 are included in the following studies:
- First International Mathematics Study (FIMS, 1964)
- Six Subject Survey/ First International Science Study (FISS, 1970)
- Second International Mathematics Study (SIMS, 1980)
- Second International Science Study (SISS, 1984)
The data collected after 1995 are listed in our table and can be accessed directly on IEAs website.
