Antibiotic resistance is an increasing global public health threat. CARe - Centre for Antibiotic Resistance Research in Gothenburg – has a vision to limit mortality, morbidity and socioeconomic costs related to antibiotic resistance on a global scale through research.
CARe is a collaborative research centre at the University of Gothenburg and Chalmers University of Technology, strategically supported by the Sahlgrenska University Hospital and the Västra Götaland Region. The mission is to generate state-of-the-art science with the intention to ultimately support policy development and clinical practice.
