About Tomas Berglund

TOMAS BERGLUND: Associate professor (Docent) in Sociology.

Areas of interest
Research areas are working life and the labour markets, for example labour market mobility, attitudes towards work, job security, job satisfaction and organisational commitment. A further research field is political sociology with a focus on class and political attitudes.

Current research projects

Working for the present in a project on temporary employment in Sweden and the question if it is a stepping stone into regular employment or not.

 

Teaching and tutoring
Teaches mainly in quantitative methods, working life and labour market sociology, and social psychology.

Supervises at all levels and across a broad spectrum of sociological fields.
