Department of Molecular and Clinical Medicine

Welcome to the Department of Molecular and Clinical Medicine. Here research and education about cardiovascular disease, obesity, diabetes, and metabolism, in particular, are under way.

Our mission is, through research, to improve health and the care our society provides. We at this Department aspire to create an excellent, translational research environment of a very high international standard. We work closely with health care providers, the pharmaceutical industry and Chalmers University of Technology, and are involved in several major international collaborations and studies.
