Our research
Research at the department is dominated by studies relating to a group of classic educational issues, with a focus on individual, organisational, resource management and institutional conditions for teaching and education, the results of these and the relationship between education and working life. The activities involve a considerable amount of international cooperation.
Collaboration
The Department of Education and Special Education has a widespread collaboration with society outside the university and with national as well as international research partners. Long-term, strategic collaboration is essential both to our partners and to the department in order to contribute to long-term, sustainable development in society, environment, and for individuals.
Networks
Networks is an important forum for collaboration when the researchers conduct and develop their research together with researchers from other universities in Sweden, the Nordic countries and the rest of the world. Also for educators participation in networks is important to be able to develop and spread knowledge and ideas about content and organisation in courses and programs.
