Sam Dupont

Sam is an associate professor at the Department of Biological and Environmental Sciences. His main research topic is on the effects of global changes, e.g. ocean acidification, warming, on marine species and ecosystems.

Bethanie Carney Almroth

Bethanie is an associate professor and researcher in ecotoxicology and zoophysiology. Her research focuses on the environmental effects of plastics and plastic-associated chemicals, using different species of fish for study. Focus within CeCAR lies in communication with the general public, industry, and policy makers and addressing problems associated with plastic consumption and possible paths towards mitigating problems.

Sverker C. Jagers

Sverker, professor of political sciende and director of CeCAR. His research is mainly focused on various aspects of environmental politics, for example explanations to people’s environmental behaviour, attitudes and acceptance of policy measures. He also conducts research onthe relationship between democracy and sustainable development, issues related to environmental and climate justice.

Åsa Löfgren

Åsa Löfgren is associate professor at the Department of Economics, University of Gothenburg. Löfgren is an international expert in the area of climate economics; in particular she has focused on climate change and behavioral economics. She is particularly interested in the effect and design of policy instruments, fairness, and industrial investment behavior, such as firms' carbon-reduction investment behavior in response to climate strategies.
