ArtMonitor: The Artistic Faculty Imprint

ArtMonitor is the imprint of the Artistic Faculty that publishes Licentiate and Doctoral dissertations; a book series; and a new series of working papers. The function of the imprint is to support the dissemination of materials that emerge from the education and research activities of the Faculty’s academic community. ArtMonitor is just one element in a unique set of publishing infrastructures that characterizes the artistic faculty of Gothenburg University.

This cluster of research publishing infrastructures and relationships based in, or connected in some way to the Faculty, that includes: PARSE , Hasselblad Partnership, L’Internationale Online, and AfterAllBooks Exhibition Histories. The term - research publishing infrastructure - refers to set of imprints, personnel, relations, and editorial frameworks that actively publishes, commissions, and otherwise generates iterative series of research publications.  Gathering these different publishing infrastructures, each with its own distinct, though complementary mission, within a single Faculty is a key distinguishing feature of the Faculty.
