Jeanette Hauff
Senior Lecturer
Department of Business AdministrationAbout Jeanette Hauff
As a researcher I have focused on consumer behavior in an investment setting. The importance of psychological factors when making an active (or passive) financial choice was the topic of my licentiate thesis, whereas trust and risk-taking in a pension system such as the Swedish was the main focus of my doctoral dissertation. After my dissertation, I have focused on trust and affective influence in connection with financial communication in a Vinnova project named Trust and feelings. Furthermore, the cues stemming from Country-of-origin and significantly influencing investment behavior has been the topic of a recently published article together with Jonas Nilsson. I currently also work with projects related to ESG within the financial industry. As a professional within the financial industry I have some 25 years of experience from various investment related positions, among them portfolio manager, head of risk management of Skandia Asset Management and CEO of Skandia Fonder. I am still connected to the financial industry through board membership both in the Second Swedish National Pension Fund and in QQM, a small Stockholm-based hedge fund. The in-depth experience stemming from my years in the industry is most valuable when shifting perspective and focusing on consumers of financial services from a research.
