Perspectives on Human Rights

We have gathered the recordings of lectures and discussions from the symposium 'The Past, Present and Future of Human Rights', held in May 2021.

Against the background of rampant economic inequality, increased social polarization and the rise of authoritarian populism, it is motivated to revisit the role and status of human rights. To discuss how to understand human rights as a historical and political problem, six authorities from the field were invited to a two days symposium.
