Short description

The Plattform for Migration, Health, and Human Rights is an international and interdisciplinary research platform aimed at conducting, disseminating, and applying research, education, and practice on health and rights in the context of migration. Spanning from health at the societal level to individual encounters in health and care settings in everyday life, the platform’s work explores health in its broader description, as put forth by the World Health Organization: ‘a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity.’ The platform is hosted at the University of Gothenburg’s Sahlgrenska Academy, by both the Department of Life Context and Health Promotion at the Institute of Health and Care Sciences and the School of Public Health and Community Medicine at the Institute of Medicin
