Short description

Within the health promotion group, we are interested in understanding how health and wellbeing can be promoted. Our research addresses a wide range of issues related to health promotion practice. It is interdisciplinary and includes different theoretical approaches as well as both qualitative and quantitative methods. The focus of our research is primarily on food and physical activity. An important goal is to generate knowledge and competence for the development, implementation and evaluation of health promotive interventions. The health promotion group share a strong commitment to participatory and empowering approaches.
