Study Molecular Biology

The Department of Chemistry and Molecular Biology offers a Master's programme in Molecular Biology. You can also choose among the many stand-alone courses, all linked to cutting-edge research.

Master's programmes and stand-alone courses

Molecular Biology

In the Master’s programme in Molecular Biology, you will learn how the cell’s DNA, proteins, and molecules act and interact, and how you can solve major biological problems by changing the cell's function and properties. You can tailor your education to your own interests and ambitions with advanced-level elective courses. At the end of your studies, you will perform an individual laboratory-based project of up to one year in one of our research groups, preparing you for a successful research career in academia, industry, or public authorities.

Stand-alone courses in Molecular Biology

The Department of Chemistry and Molecular Biology offers a wide range of stand-alone courses in English within the field of Molecular biology, both on a basic (Bachelor’s) level and on an advanced (Master’s) level.

Please contact our study counsellor Peter Gulz if you have any questions. He will help and guide you so that you can make well-informed decisions.
