When the new arena for life science and innovation is completed in 2021, there will be 7,000 new jobs for talented people from all over the world.

3. Life science research gathered on the Medical Hill
The University of Gothenburg strengthens the field of life sciences in West Sweden by gathering life science researchers in a new building, Natrium, on the Medical Hill. From autumn 2023, students in chemistry or molecular biology will receive their education in new state-of-the-art premises at the heart of the university's life science strategy.
