The University
Interdisciplinarity and border-crossing are the most important features of Centre for Critical Heritage Studies (CCHS) activities, both within the University and outside.
At the University, four Faculties play central roles: The Faculty of Social Sciences; Faculty of Science; Faculty of Arts and Faculty of Fine, Applied and Performing Art. Centre for Critical Heritage Studies networks and activities are however not restrcted to these institutions and we aim to further develop our relationships with other parts of the University.
Regional/National
A central objective for the CCHS is to develop the collaborative capacity for dialouges with society, and particularly with the Västra Götaland region and its museums and heritage sites. The Heritage Academy is a formalisation of this objective.
In collaboration with the Museum of World Culture in Gothenburg CCHS is initiating a series of talks and a podcast series on heritage research. The series "Inside the box" will be launched in September 2019.
