About Karolina Lindén

Karolina Linden is a doctoral candidate in Health and Care Sciences and has a Master’s degree in Reproductive and Perinatal Health. She is a registered nurse and a registered midwife.
 

Research
Karolina Linden’s doctoral thesis focuses on supporting women with type 1 diabetes during pregnancy and in early motherhood (up to six months after childbirth). Within the research project MODIAB-Web (MOtherhood and DIABetes) a randomized controlled multicenter study evaluating a web-based support program for pregnant women and mothers with type 1 diabetes is conducted.
