About Marcela Davila

I'm the Head of the Bioinformatics Core Facility at the Sahlgrenska Academy, where we provide researchers with statistical and bioinformatics consultation, data analysis and training.

Focused currently in the development of bioinformatics algorithms and analytical platforms within massive parallel sequencing.

Co-founder of the Gothenburg Bioinformatics Network (GOTBIN) which intends to bring together all Gothenburg researchers for whom bioinformatics is a part of their research.

Involved in bioinformatics education, either by lecturing and organizing courses or by supervising students.
