Short description

SafeCity deals with what trigger increased safety in ‘vulnerable’ city boroughs, listed by the Police, which has significantly improved (Gårdsten, Lövgärdet and South Tynnered in Göteborg). During the SafeCity project we investigate the strategies activated by several types of estate owners in order to reach a more sustainable estate administration and safety in the housing boroughs in question. The project relies on interviews and secondary materials. The results are expected to illuminate how ‘vilnerable’ boroughs can get less so, and what strategies there are to choose between.
