Short description

This project was a joint collaboration between The Swedish Association of Local Authorities and Regions (SALAR) and GPCC which aimed to communicate knowledge on person-centred care in a novel and accessible way through addressing common myths surrounding the concept. In a first step we validated the occurrence of certain myths with purposefully selected participants including patient representatives, students, and health care professionals from different health and care settings. The list of myths was modified based on the results from step 1. In step 2 we reviewed the research literature to problematize the different myths. A short and vigorous alternative to each myth was formulated.
