Hidden work among female seafarers, the role of harbour seals in the marine food web and increased production of the algae sea lettuce. These are three examples of research projects at the University of Gothenburg that are sharing SEK 37 million in grants in the Swedish Research Council's and Formas' annual calls.

About the calls

The research funding organisations the Swedish Research Council and Formas issue annual calls for research funding. The projects that receive funding from the Swedish Research Council come from the calls within educational sciences, humanities and social sciences, and natural and engineering sciences. In Formas' annual open call, two types of grants are available: Research projects for early career researchers and research projects.
