Krefting Research Centre, University of Gothenburg

Krefting Research Centre conduct allergy and respiratory research. Our mission is to understand the epidemiology and pathophysiology of asthma and improve asthma management. We were founded in 2008 and has a primary financial support from VBG Group’s principal owner Herman Krefting Foundation for Allergy and Asthma Research.

Our research

Our team consists of around 20 researchers with broad experience and extensive expertise. We are based at Medicinareberget in Gothenburg and are part of the Institute of Medicine at the University of Gothenburg.
