About Susanne Ljungman Westergren
Competence: I am a science journalist and work as a communicator at the Department of Clinical Sciences.Department of Clinical Sciences.
Responsibility Area: My job includes working with the external communication and structures on the Web. I want to make our research more transparent so that the University's third mission or science outreach is met - to spread knowledge about our research and development.
In my assignments I am also responsible for communications for:
- Center for Disaster Medicine - a knowledge center commissioned by the National Board of Health and Welfare with a focus on total defense. The center conducts research, development and education in disaster medicine and healthcare in crisis and war.
- SHIELD Doctoral Network - a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Doctoral Network (DN) funded by the European Commission under Horizon Europe. It brings together a multidisciplinary consortium of 26 partners from academia, industry, hospitals, and research foundations across 11 countries to tackle one of the most pressing challenges in modern medicine: implant-associated infections (IAIs).
Grateful for the feedback: All comments on our web are warmly welcomed, just email or call me.
