About Noora Neittaanmäki

Noora Neittaanmäki is double specialist in Dermatology and Pathology. She gcompleted her PhD program at University of Helsinki in 2015. In 2016 she moved to Sweden and started her post-doc research at the University of Gothenburg. She became associated professor at University of Gothenburg and at the University of Helsinki in 2021.

Noora has wide experience in multidisciplinary skin cancer research. Her research group focuses on the development of new imaging technologies and AI in cancer diagnostics. Currently she works as a dermatopathologist at the Department of Pathology at the Sahlgrenska University Hospital and as senior lecturer at Department of Laboratory Medicine, Institute for Biomedicine at University of Gothenburg.
