About Amra Osmancevic

Amra Osmancevic is a senior consultant in dermatology and venereology at the Dept. of Dermatology, Sahlgrenska University Hospital, Gothenburg, Sweden and a professor at University of Gothenburg. She defended her PhD thesis on "Vitamin D status in psoriasis patients treated with UVB therapy" at the Sahlgrenska Academy, University of Gothenburg in February 2009. She is involved in several ongoing research projects with focus on vitamin D, psoriasis, phototherapy and skin cancer. Her teaching assignments comprise lectures and tutorials for medical students, PhD students, physicians and fellows in dermatology and venereology. Amra was president of Swedish Society for Dermatology and Venereology and is the board member of European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology and Nordic Dermatology Association.
