Short description

On behalf of the Swedish Agency for Work Environment Expertise, the knowledge of the organizational and social work environment of LGBTQ people is mapped. The study has a special focus on transgender people's work environment.
Existing knowledge indicates major shortcomings in the work environment for LGBTQ people. Studies show, among other things, that they are more often exposed to discrimination, harassment and bullying in the workplace, and that people with trans experience are particularly vulnerable.

The purpose of the systematic review is to map and summarize existing research on the organizational and social work environment for LGBTQ people. It is examined which factors that research has shown to be characteristic of LGBTQ people's work environment, what main work environment risks and health factors have been identified regarding this group, and what has been shown to characterize an inclusive work environment. The review also examines how the work environment situation differs for gay, bisexual, trans and queer people.
