Short description

As an Academy researcher at the Department of Sociology and Work Science, University of Gothenburg, Adel analyzes the effects of economic crises on families' living conditions in low- and middle-income countries. Methodologically, he collaborates with computer scientists to adapt machine learning algorithms to identify the effects of crises and social policy in large databases.

Adel Daoud is also an honorary research fellow at the Center for Business Research, University of Cambridge; Turing Fellow at the Alan Turing Institute, London; and Bell Fellow at Harvard University.
