Researchers' Night

Researchers' Night is carried out annually at the end of September in several different locations around Sweden. The purpose is to spread research to the general public and inspire young people to further studies. Research Friday takes place September 25-30.

Information for those who want to participate

For those of you who are interested in contributing content to Researchers’ Night, there are several different possibilities.

Date
Research Friday takes place September 23-28.

Theme
Every year, Researchers’ Night has a theme. This year's theme is Research in our everyday life..

Target group
Researchers’ Night is primarily aimed at the general public and school youth (preschool-high school).

Program content
You decide the extent of your content as well as the location. Keep in mind that the content should include some form of interaction with the target audience. A concluding question session in connection with a lecture, for example, is sufficient.

Borrow a researcher
In connection with Researchers’ Night, Borrow a researcher is also carried out. During Borrow a researcheryou as a researcher or doctoral student have the opportunity to go out to schools (preschool-high school) and tell them about your research and what a researcher does.

Possible to participate with program items in English and other languages
Activities during Researchers’ Night do not have to be held in Swedish. It is entirely possible to complete these in English or another language. This also applies to Borrowing a researcher.
