About Jonas Martinsson
I work as a communicator with responsibility for the university's external activities, with a particular focus on popular science events and meetings between researchers and the public.
I coordinate the University of Gothenburg's participation in the Science Festival, West Pride, Frihamnsdagarna and the Book Fair, as well as activities that take place at ForskarFredag and Angereds Bokmässa.
My assignment also includes:
- Responsible for the calendar on gu.se
- Updating and maintaining central event pages and push notifications.
- Surveillance of new venues where the university can make its research visible.
I also work with individual events at cultural centers and libraries and can provide advice and support regarding the planning and implementation of events that elevate the university's research in new contexts in different venues.
