Cristina Maglio, clinical researcher at the Wallenberg Centre of Molecular and Translational Medicine (WCMTM) is one of eight young researchers receiving Swedish Society for Medical Research's "large grant" ("stora anslag").

The grant amounts to SEK 5,166,00 for four years of part-time research.

About Cristina Maglio

Cristina Maglio and her group aim to understand the relationship between obesity, inflammation and the development of rheumatoid arthritis, a chronic inflammatory joint disease affecting about 1% of the Swedish population.
