Our research

At the Faculty of Education, we conduct research on education, learning, children’s and young people’s living conditions, as well as food, physical activity and health. Our practice-oriented research is relevant to the school system, the teaching profession, and human development and health. It is grounded in the social sciences, with interdisciplinary elements from fields such as natural sciences and medicine, and is carried out in close collaboration with the wider community. Several of our research environments are internationally recognised.
