Department of BusinessAbout Christian Dam
Christian is a doctoral student in marketing at the University of Gothenburg. His research focuses on the cross-field of consumption and culture. In his doctoral research project, he employs an interpretive lens through which he explores how nostalgia permeates the marketplace and how consumers interact with the past through the mediation of consumption. This is done through ethnographic inquiry into the vintage cycling community. Moreover, he has a keen interest in research areas like globalisation and branding. In addition to his research interests, he finds great joy and inspiration in teaching classes on globalisation, consumer behaviour, and qualitative methods.
